ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The 6-month full-time Post Basic in Paediatric Nursing programme is designed for Registered Nurses who aspire to advance their career in caring for infants, children, and adolescents.
The programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to:
- • Provide safe, holistic, and evidence-based nursing care to children with various health conditions
- • Support and educate families during critical and challenging periods
- • Apply paediatric nursing principles in both general and specialised paediatric settings
Students will be prepared to meet the complex needs of young patients while delivering compassionate care that aligns with current paediatric standards and best practices.
- • Possess Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
- • Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- • Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
- • Min 2 years clinical working experience
- • Medically Fit
