ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Overview

The 6-month full-time Post Basic in Orthopaedic Nursing programme is designed for Registered Nurses specialising in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

Students will learn to manage:

  • • Bone fractures
  • • Joint replacements
  • • Osteoporosis
  • • Arthritis
  • • Other musculoskeletal injuries and disorders

 

The programme prepares nurses to deliver safe and effective orthopaedic care across various clinical settings.

Entry Requirement

  • • Possess Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • • Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • • Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
  • • Min 2 years clinical working experience
  • • Medically Fit
