Christy Chiu is currently Chief Executive Officer of IMC Education Sdn Bhd. She graduated from the Monash University, Australia with BEcons (Accounting) in 1984. She was admitted as a Fellow to CPA Australia in 2006 and has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2007.

Upon graduation, Christy returned to Malaysia in 1985 and worked as an audit assistant with KMG Hew and Tan, Kuala Lumpur for two years. For the next six years, she worked with Beca Carter Holdings and Ferner Ltd, Auckland, the largest consulting engineering firm in New Zealand. During this period, she was promoted from an Accountant to Group Accountant and finally to the Head of Department, overseeing the various finance functions of the Group.

In 1992, Christy returned to Malaysia and was employed as the Regional Accountant for Southeast Asia by Jurutera Perunding Beca Carter Sdn Bhd (JPBC), Kuala Lumpur, travelling to various offices in the region. She joined International Medical College (IMC) in 1993. She set up the finance department and was responsible for financial management of IMC until 1996.

For the next three years, Christy was Financial Controller for Batu Tiga Quarry Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of YTL Cement Bhd, Kuala Lumpur.

In 1999, Christy resumed the position as Financial Controller of the Sesama Medical College Management Sdn Bhd (SMCM) including supervision of the Administration and Building Maintenance & Engineering Services.

In 2010, she was appointed project leader for the IMU’s Strategic Plan, ASPIRE where she worked closely with the senior management team, key staff and PwC to craft the Strategic Direction of IMU. She is responsible for the oversight on the implementation of the ASPIRE project.

Christy is married with three children and she spends much of her Sundays teaching primary school children in the Sunday School at her church. She supports her husband in community work for the Residents’ Association and the Parent Teacher Association of their children’s schools.

Ng is currently the Head of all the Nursing programmes for the International Medical College (IMC) Subang Jaya. Ms Ng graduated from the Tun Tan Cheng Lock College of Nursing, Assunta Hospital in 1980 and subsequently obtained her Certificate in Midwifery from School of Midwifery at Ipoh in 1992, Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education, UM in 1995. Her quest for further education took her to achieve the BHSc (Nursing) with VUT, Australia in 1998 and later towards Masters of Nursing in Monash University, Australia in 2006.

She has acquired vast experiences in the private sector in the areas of clinical practice, teaching, management & administration. She had 34 years of nursing service. She had been a Principal of a private college for 7 years in her 18 years’ service at the college as well as being a head of nursing for 2 years.

Ms Ng’s passion is to grow and drive nursing to achieve higher standards to be at par with all healthcare professionals. The College will be the nursery to nurture and grow the young students into responsible professionals.

Getpin Anak Rudie is the Acting Head of Nursing Programmes for IMC Melaka. She received her Diploma in Nursing from School of Nursing Melaka in 1995 and subsequently obtained her Teaching Certificate Course from Indiana University School of Nursing US in 2001. Her interest for further education took her to achieve Advance Diploma in Teaching Methodology from University Malaya in 2005 followed by Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing Practice Development from Northumbria University of New Castle in 2009. In 2016 she has obtained Master’s Degree in Education from Asia E University (AeU).

She has 17 years of clinical teaching as well as classroom teaching experience. With over 22 years of experiences in medical, surgical, orthopaedic, urology, neurology, eye & ENT, paediatrics, oncology and intensive care units, Getpin is well-equipped as a nurse educator. She is very passionate in imparting knowledge, motivating and preparing student nurses in creative ways to keep up with the current nursing practice and managing competitive healthcare services.

She is an active member of the Catholic Nurses Guild Malaysia and St John Ambulance. She volunteers as a Project Assistant and Registered Nurse for Assistant Medical International, an innovative humanitarian organization in Portugal that runs Preventive Health Clinics in the community. She is also a secretary and a Portuguese cultural dancer from 1511 O Maliao Maliao Dance Troupe which has performs locally and internationally. She is also active in church activities and currently a chosen member for Rolling Good Time Ministry.
