The Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year programme offered by the IMU College. The programme is designed to prepare students to become competent Registered Nurses through a comprehensive and varied programme of study involving simulated practice, fieldwork, team learning, clinical skills development and more.
IMU College’s Diploma in Nursing students will gain valuable clinical experience at hospitals and healthcare facilities under One Asia Healthcare, Pantai – Gleneagles Group of Hospitals as well as other approved Government Hospitals and Healthcare Centres. Students will have opportunities to develop their clinical knowledge and practical nursing skills in a real healthcare environment.
In addition, selected hospitals and healthcare organisations in Malaysia and Singapore may offer sponsorship and employment opportunities to eligible graduates.

Eligibility to Apply
- Candidate must be Malaysian citizen.
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), IGCSE, UEC, Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM), or an equivalent qualification, but SPM results must meet the academic entry requirement) with a minimum of 5 credits in Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, and Science (General Science/Physics/Biology/Chemistry/Allied Science), and a pass in two other subjects including English.
- Be certified physically and mentally fit by a registered medical practitioner.
Selection of Candidates
The selection of candidates for sponsorship will be based on academic merit, financial need, socio-economic background, and excellence in extracurricular activities. Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview conducted by the respective sponsors.
Good Command of Languages
All IMU College students are required to have a good command of English. In addition, students are expected to have a good command of Bahasa Malaysia to enable them to function effectively throughout their studies and, subsequently, in their professional careers.
