Course Description
Learning life saving skills is paramount to save lives of loved ones or even a stranger’s life. Basic Life Support (BLS) is the primary medical aid provided to a person in an emergency medical situation. This workshop prepares you to provide help needed at the most crucial moments.
Participants will learn to perform correct Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to adults, children and infants who are unresponsive and not breathing normally. It also includes the management of choking conscious and unconscious for adults, children and infants.
Course Objective
At the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills to provide one- and two- man cardiopulmonary resuscitation to infants, children and adults
- Demonstrate skills to assess and manage foreign body airway obstruction in infants, children and adults.
- Demonstrate proper use of safe ventilation devices during CPR.
