Course Description
Whether a person has suddenly collapsed or experienced some other medical emergency and is not breathing normally, there will be dire consequence if help is not rendered immediately. This workshop helps prepare you to provide the help needed at the most crucial moments. Participants will learn to perform correct CPR to adults and infants who are unresponsive and not breathing normally. It also includes the management of choking unconscious and conscious for adults and infants.
Course Objective
At the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills to provide one- and two- person cardiopulmonary resuscitation to infants and adults.
- Demonstrate skills to assess and manage foreign body airway obstruction in infants and adults.
- Demonstrate proper use of pocket mask, bag-valve mask and ventilation to an artificial airway during resuscitation attempts.
