Aminuddin Bin Mohamed Johari (Ayer Keroh, Group 2/2004) started his Diploma in Nursing in 2004. After graduation he worked in the Accident & Emergency Department and later the Operation Theater at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN). In 2010, Aminuddin decided to embark on a Safety Certificate Course to work as an Offshore Medic Personnel. Basic requirement for such position is to possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, with experience in Operating Theater & Emergency Department.
Such qualification and experience provided him a daily salary of RM450 as an Offshore Medic Personnel. Aminuddin was promoted as Supervisor of Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) at Hallin Marine and now earns a daily salary of USD500 – USD700 (approximately RM2,050 – RM 2,870).
