IV Cannulation

This practical workshop will provide participants with valuable skills and knowledge required to insert peripheral intravenous cannula and care for the cannulation site. This is a 1-day course with lectures, skills demonstrations and breakaway sessions for skills practice and assessment. At the end of the workshop, participants will have their cannulation competency individually assessed on a cannulation ‘model’ arm. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate detailing their successful completion of the course.

Performance Management System

The course emphasis on the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), which is a systematic approach to deal with Poor Performers. A company must have a Comprehensive Performance Management System as only then a PIP would be an effective tool to improve Poor or Underperformers. The Course shall expose participants on the specialised approach to deal with the three main categories of employees in a company; the A class being the Top employees, the B class the Solid Contributors and the C class the Underperformers or also known as the Driftwood or the Laggards.
